Esomeprazole Sodium Injection: This medicine comes under the branding of CAPCID 40 and is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. GERD is a condition in which the backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and possible injury to the esophagus in adults. 

Esomeprazole Sodium Injection contains the esomeprazole that belongs to the class of medicines called ‘proton pump inhibitors’ which work by reducing the amount of acid that your stomach produces. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production.
